Thursday Last Thursday (3rd of May), I went to Paris with Filip (Verboven) & Laurens (De Smet) to play yet another edition of the Unibet Open (€1500+150). We would be joined be Jonas (Mols) who was already playing Day 1 A on Thursday. We, on the other hand, would start on Friday, Day 1B. As usual, Unibet provided some welcome drinks for the players on Thursday night. Unfortunately, they stopped handing out free booze at 23.30. But ballers as we are (or want to ...

April's finished and again, I'm very pleased with the results. I started off by playing some 200NL with mixed results, next to my normal games. When 500NL zoom started to run, I made this my main game. Nowadays, I'm 6 tabling zoom where normally I'd first check the normal games for action. As you probably all know, Pokerstars has introduced Zoom poker. They started out with a 100NL as the highest stakes, but now we have 500NL. A bit of a weird level, but I guess they want to combine the 400NL & 600NL players to create enough action. I started out with getting my feet wet at 200NL zoom whenever the normal games at my stakes (400 & 600NL) had no real marks I'd like to play against. I had some trouble adjusting in the beginning. I started making all my decisions ...
Since I didn't have any non-alcoholic drinks in the house other than tapwater, and I'm too lazy to go shopping I decided to drink a beer to have something tasteful. Drank one while watching cycling on tv, opened another one after that and started 2 tabling. There where some really fishy players that made some wacky plays and suckouts, but then again I was up so... I guess it was the beer that quickens the tilt process. One thing I've also noticed is that I don't only use the ...
